In January 2024, a group of longtime friends traveled together to the Galapagos Islands.
FV residents Jay & Susanne Seiden and Karlee & Mike Tucker were joined by HB residents Marlyn & Fred Weihmuller (not pictured). They were on the ship Celebrity Flora which stopped at multiple islands.
Highlights included snorkeling, hiking on eight different islands, seeing and getting up close with the Galapagos Tortoises, Blue Footed Boobies, penguins, sea turtles, iguanas and sea lions including one that was only a few hours old.
They enjoyed plentiful food including a group dinner under the stars with wine flowing. Fun was had by all.
