Kay Rogers took Fountain Valley Living with her on a recent trip to visit her son, Derek, and his family in Columbus, Ohio.
Kay enjoyed several days with the family, particularly enjoying time spent with two wonderful granddaughters.
A 200-year old hotel that was converted to condos twenty years ago, the Worthington Inn, was “home” to the Rogers family for a few years when they were first married.
One highlight of Kay’s time in Columbus was her visit to the Columbus Zoo, which is one of the largest and most exciting zoos in the world. Her guide at the zoo was Derek’s wife, Paige, who was raised in Columbus.
Kay also enjoyed the four days she spent with a friend from her teen years, who lives in Vermilion, Ohio, a small town on the edge of Lake Erie.
