Joseph and Erma Gallegos, residents of Fountain Valley for 34 years, took FV Living on the trip to Glacier Bay Nation Park & Preserve in June 2024. In the background is Margerie Glacier.
They flew to Seattle where they boarded the cruise for Alaska. The ship docked at Ketchikan, Sitka, Icy Strait Point, Juneau, and Glacier Bay. They went with their daughter Erica, her husband Matt, grandson Grant, and in-laws George & Gloria Bernal.
Joseph and Erma especially enjoyed eating the crab legs and viewing the capital building at Juneau Alaska. Their favorite memory is observing a majestic bald eagle perched on a small iceberg in the middle of Glacier Bay.
