LOVE BRADLEY CROWNED 2024 MISS FOUNTAIN VALLEY

Miss Fountain Valley 2024, Love Bradley, was crowned Feb. 4 before a sold-out audience at the Golden West College Mainstage Theater. She won a $5,000 scholarship from the Title sponsor, the Fountain Valley Community Foundation with a grant from Hyundai Motor America.

Additionally, Miss Bradley received a diamond pendant necklace, valued at $2,500 and provided by David Truong of Mimi's Jewelry. Love also won Miss Congeniality, voted by her peers, and the Spirit of Miss Fountain Valley $200 cash award for participation and ticket sales.

Miss California 2023, Sabrina Lewis, was in attendance at the event to help with the awards and crowning of the Miss Fountain Valley 2024 Court. Court members will be making many appearances at city events during the next year.

The new Miss Fountain Valley, Love d’Encarnacao Bradley, is currently a sophomore at the University of California, Irvine where she is studying biomedical engineering and pursuing a minor in African American Studies.

Love has made it a priority to educate the next generation of leaders on the importance of STEM career fields through her community service initiative, “Biomedical Engineering, Engineering for the Future.” She dreams of becoming an oncologist and as of now she works in the Dr. Hui Lab at UCI where she researches treatments for pancreatic cancer and kidney disease.

Delilah Cunneen, first runner up, won a $1,000 scholarship as well as the Community Service $700 scholarship sponsored by Susan Saurastri, Real Estate Advisor.

Contestant Danielle Pham won the $700 Platform scholarship award for her work with “Tender Hearts: Breaking the Silence on Childhood Mental Health,” also sponsored by Susan Saurastri.

Second runner-up Alexis Brown won a $750 scholarship; third runner- up Lauren Worley won a $500 scholarship; fourth runner-up Hannah Nguyen won $250 scholarship.

The $500 Academic scholarship award went to Hannah’s sister, Amanda Nguyen. The sponsorship was sponsored by Dr. Van Vu, California Pain Center, Fountain Valley.

Silver sponsors for the annual competition included Lily Campbell of First Team Real Estate, Advance Beauty College, Kelly Osborn Memorial Foundation, Huntington Beach Auto Dealers Association, Los Cab Sports Village and Golden West College.

The Miss Fountain Valley Scholarship Foundation is a preliminary to Miss America. Miss Bradley will represent the city of Fountain Valley at the Miss California competition in June in Visalia.
