The Fountain Valley Community Foundation will host its fall Texas Hold’em Charity Poker Tournament on Nov. 4 at the Center at Founders Village Senior & Community Center.

Proceeds from the tournament will support the city’s new Universally Accessible Playground, which is being built in the Fountain Valley Sports Park.

The tournament gives Fountain Valley nonprofit groups an opportunity to participate and raise funds for their organizations.

If an organization registers at least 10 players, the $25 registration fee per player goes back to the organization. It’s an easy way to fundraise and have a great time, organizers said.

Walk-up registrations are $30 and will start at 5:15 p.m. the day of the event. Walk up registration fees will automatically go to the Fountain Valley Community Foundation to support the building of the Universally Accessible Playground.

You can also register at the Fountain Valley Recreation Center, 16400 Brookhurst St., or at the Center at Founders Village, 17967 Bushard St. Registration forms will be available at both sites. Registration is payable by check.

All registered players must be 21 years old or older to play. Questions: Call (714) 593-4449.
