Lisa and Adam Williams visited Fiji in September 2023. This photo was taken at Bouma Falls on the Garden Isle of Taveuni which is off-the-grid to say the very least. A beautiful place with beautiful people.
The locals live off the land and sea…there is no utility power, only solar and diesel generators – and most locals cannot afford generators. That said, the people of Taveuni will give you their very last drop of food or clothing if you need it. We bring school supplies, first aid supplies, and other necessities every time we visit. The people of Taveuni have been part of our extended family since 2007. Remembering S CM.
