MARINE FAMILIES NEED YOUR HELP

Body

When a young recruit and their family report for duty at Camp Pendleton, they are given a small, empty apartment.

Often, these families arrive with only what fits in their car. In some cases, they have had to sleep on the floor.

Recognizing the need, the Rotary Club of Camp Pendleton sprang into action and created the Warrior Warehouse. Members began collecting new and gently used furniture, cookware, household goods, baby clothing, baby furniture, toys and diapers. Military families can visit and take what they need to set up their apartments and live comfortably.

The effort has been going strong for 20 years, assisting more than 175,000 Marine and Navy families to date.

The Fountain Valley Rotary Club has supported the project for six years and will hold another col-lection day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Saturday, June 20, 2026, in the parking lot at the Center at Founders Village, 17967 Bushard St., Fountain Valley.

All donations are tax-deductible.
