If you’ve spent any time at Mile Square Regional Park on a Saturday, you already know the drill: folding chairs, sunscreen, and the endless innings of Pony Baseball, Little League, Girls Fast Pitch Softball, or AYSO and eventually, all that cheering leads to a whole lot of hungry players and parents.
That is where the story of Dos Mamacitas begins. As two local moms, Missy Robinson and Shelby Borden, built this street food stand on friendship, community, and seriously craveable food. We actually met right here on the sidelines, putting in long hours while our kids Joey, Jack, Drake, and Ila played ball. We realized that long game days desperately called for better fuel, so we decided to build the exact food stand we’d been wishing for as sports parents.
Now, weekends at the park mean the aroma of sizzling grills, catching up with our neighbors, and serving up a steady line of families waiting for their “Dos Mamacitas” fix.
The Game-Day Menu We Love Serving You The Sizzle: You can usually smell the grill before you even see us! Our fan-favorite street tacos and bacon- wrapped hot dogs, piled high with grilled onions and peppers, are guaranteed to stop any hungry fan right in their tracks.
The Esquites: A must-order. Served with our homemade cream sauce, cotija cheese, tajin, and lime, it’s the perfect sweet-salty-spicy bite that just feels like summer.
Early Morning Essentials: Our breakfast burritos are packed with eggs, crispy tots, sausage, and cheese, making them a dugout essential before the first pitch is even thrown.
Fresh & Vibrant: For a lighter option, our Açaí bowls are a massive hit. Layered with fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and your choice of toppings like Nutella or peanut butter, they are the perfect energizing pick-me-up for a busy day at the fields.
For us, what makes Dos Mamacitas truly special isn’t just the bold street style flavor; it’s how naturally it fits into the sports culture we love so much. We might be there to serve food, but our favorite part is the conversation and the neighborhood warmth we get to share with all of you every single weekend.
It is a beautiful full-circle moment for our families: the same kids who grew up playing on these very fields Joey, Jack, Drake, and Ila are now the ones working behind the counter! Be sure to give them a wave when you come up to order.
We are so grateful that Dos Mamacitas has become a permanent part of your weekend routine. Whether you’re sharing our esquites on the bleachers or grabbing an açaí bowl between games, we love serving you street food with a whole lot of heart.
Keep an eye out for upcoming menu additions like taco bowls and milkshakes to help us “round third” and head for home! Dos Mamacitas is open most weekends from 8am-8pm at the Fountain Valley Sports Park, right in the middle of Fields 1–4.
