From Our Family to Yours

The holidays are my favorite time of year. As a kid, I loved the presents and the pie and the two-week vacation. In my 20’s, I was all about holiday parties and time on the slopes. I still love all those things, but these days what I look forward to most is spending time with family. Doesn’t matter what we’re doing, just that we’re together.

That’s what makes this month’s issue so much fun. There are an amazing number of holiday activities close to home that families will enjoy.

This photo was taken during our visit to L.A. Zoo Lights a couple of years ago. I lived in Los Angeles for five years, but only learned about it after meeting Anne and moving back home to OC. Hopefully our cover story includes activities that are new for your family as well.

Our December issue also contains articles about a local teacher ’s fight against leukemia, Miss Fountain Valley 2026, cleaning the harbour, holiday books for middle schoolers and Courreges Elementary’s 50th anniversary. From our family to yours, we hope you have a great holiday season and a Happy New Year!
