Sanitation District open house is June 8

The Orange County Sanitation District will celebrate 70 years of service on Saturday, June 8 with an open house at the district headquarters, 10844 Ellis Ave., in Fountain Valley.

Those attending can take guided tours of the state-of-the-art facilities and learn about the innovative processes used to manage wastewater, officials said.

Also planned are interactive booths, free ice cream, giveaways, raffle prizes and entertainment.

The open house is set for 9 a.m. to noon.
