In November 2024, longtime Fountain Valley residents Wendy and Leonard Takahashi traveled to Taiwan. This photo was taken on the grounds of the Chiang-Shek Memorial Hall in Taipei.
While in Taipei, Wendy and Leonard spent time with their son, Jason, who has been performing in and leading some of the Disney on Ice shows for over 12 years now.
Jason was born and raised in Fountain Valley, is a graduate of FVHS, Class of 2007, and has been figure skating since he was 5 years old.
After spending Thanksgiving week in Taiwan, Jason took a short break from the ice tour to several other destinations in Asia, including Malaysia, where he also attended – and taught at – a line dance event. He also spent several days in the Philippines.
