Every month, a few of our readers travel to far-flung destinations, snap photos of themselves holding a copy of the magazine and email them to us with info about the food they ate, sights they saw and memories they made. We publish these “Magazine Day” photos on page 6.
In the four years we have owned Fountain Valley Living, copies have traveled to the North and South poles, Australia, Japan, China, the U.S., Canada and Europe.
This month’s destination is Israel.
These photos capture pride in our city and the prosperity of our community as well as the desire of our friends and neighbors to experience all the world has to offer. One of our favorite tasks is sorting through submissions to select one to share.
This month, we are also sharing a photo of our own.
With our older daughter preparing to graduate FVHS and her sister just a year behind, we decided we needed to take advantage of every remaining opportunity to travel as a family before they leave for college. So, we took our girls on a tour of London and Dublin over spring break. Here we are at Ireland’s Cliffs of Moher.
