In August 2025, Joshua Chao,
an ASB student at Fulton Middle School, celebrated his Bar Mitzvah with a trip to Europe. He traveled with his parents, Stacy and Robert, and his sister, Sophia.
The trip began in Poland, where he explored his Jewish his family once lived. They roots with a visit to Lodz, where continued to the Swiss Alps for tobogganing and ziplining near the Matterhorn.
The journey concluded in Rome at the Colosseum with lots of pizza and gelato. This photo was taken at Jungfraujoch, joch, a famous peak in the Swiss Alps often called the 'Top of Europe' at over 11,000ft.
