Garden Grove Unified School District is celebrating its 60th anniversary, and the entire community is invited to join the festivities. Current and former students, staff, families, and community members are invited to attend the 60th Anniversary Celebration on Friday, May 15, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Bolsa Stadium for an evening honoring six decades of learning, innovation, and community pride.
The family-friendly celebration will feature activities designed for all ages. Guests will enjoy student performances, delicious food, a history walk highlighting memorable milestones from the district’s past, alumni association booths, and a mini car show featuring classic vehicles.
Additional activities include photo stations, interactive games for children, music and a mascot dance-off with a live DJ, and prizes donated by community partners, creating a festive atmosphere of fun. The event offers a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the district’s legacy, reconnect with friends, and look ahead to the next 60 years.
