In 2025, the Fountain Valley Police Department launched the “You are Not Alone” (YANA) program to support Fountain Valley seniors. YANA is an outreach program for senior residents living alone who would benefit from a daily welfare check.

The holidays are my favorite time of year. As a kid, I loved the presents and the pie and the two-week vacation. In my 20’s, I was all about holiday parties and time on the slopes. I still love all those things, but these days what I look forward to most is spending time with family.
